Second Sky Rules & Responsibilities
Reservation and Payment
Full payment, deposit, or approved payment arrangement must be completed according to the agreement terms. A reservation is not finalized until Second Sky receives the required deposit or approved payment arrangement.
If the required payment is not received by the agreed deadline, Second Sky may cancel the reservation.
Payment may be made through an approved online payment system, ACH, credit or debit card, cash, check, purchase order, or other method approved by Second Sky.
Any outstanding balances for additional services, additional guests, snack bar bills, table covers, extended time, damages, or other approved charges may be due before leaving the premises.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations not received in writing at least two weeks before the scheduled event may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the rental fee.
Cancellation or rescheduling before the two-week period may be subject to an administrative fee.
Event Time
The approved time block includes setup and cleanup. Events may not begin before the approved start time or end after the approved end time without prior written consent from Second Sky Management.
Additional charges may apply if the event exceeds the approved time.
Host Attendance
The Host named in this agreement must be present throughout the event unless Second Sky approves another responsible party in writing.
The Host is responsible for the conduct of all guests, students, vendors, attendees, and participants.
Waivers
All attendees must complete the Second Sky waiver before using exhibits or participating in activities. The Host is responsible for sharing the waiver link with guests, parents, guardians, students, or attendees before the event.
Food and Drink
Outside food may be permitted when approved. Second Sky is not responsible for deliveries, storage, condition, temperature, or service of outside food and drink.
The Host is responsible for disposable flatware, cutlery, serving supplies, cleanup, and vendor coordination unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Decorations
Decorations must be attached only with approved methods such as painter’s tape or magnets. Pins, strong adhesives, or damaging fasteners are not permitted.
All decorations and large items must be removed by the approved event end time unless otherwise agreed.
Pets
No pets are permitted on the premises. Registered service animals are welcome. Emotional support animals are not considered registered service animals under Second Sky policy.
Smoking
Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, including interior and exterior areas.
Music and Sound
Music may be played during approved events, but sound must remain at a level that does not disturb other guests, events, or businesses.
Use of Exhibits
Attendees may use approved indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits only if required waivers have been completed. The Host is responsible for attendee conduct and any damage caused to exhibits.
Shared Premises
Second Sky shares property with Creative Machines Inc. Guests must remain within approved Second Sky areas. Anyone entering Creative Machines property without permission may be considered trespassing.
Post-Event Inspection
An authorized Second Sky representative may inspect the premises after the event. Non-compliance, damage, policy violations, or unsatisfactory cleanup may result in additional charges.
